Where: FBC Magnolia, 126 South Clark St.
How much: Free meal and training—the association and Mississippi Baptist Convention will cover the cost of the supper and training.
On a typical Sunday, church attendance rolls compared with population demographics reveal that up to 60% of the people living in Pike County are not in church. In a community that has churches within a short driving distance of any home, we know that just because they know where we are does not mean they will choose to come. Somebody has to love them enough to go after them! The emphasis at our CLT Training & Supper will be looking at characteristics of the age groups we are trying to reach for Christ and helping a “church culture” connect to the “unchurched, lost or those who have left the church, the dechurched.” Want to see a Revival take place? Lost people coming to the Lord and His church can help usher in a revival in your church and a renewal of our love for God and people.
We invite you to share this information and invitation with church workers and ask them to come out for this time of training, enrichment, and renewing a call to serve God through the local church. Sign-up sheets have been mailed out to each church to help get a count for the supper. It begins at 6:30 pm and training will follow that. We hope to have every church represented.
