February Newsletter

Devotionals are something great to help supplement your already existing Bible Study and quiet times, but with all the options that are out there, how do we know which ones are best?  Here are my top 10 recommendations.  I am currently working through Valley of Vision right now and loving it.  Morning and Evening is another classic and I recommend the version that edited by Alistair Begg.  I hope this helps in your pursuit of Godliness.

  1. Valley of Vision by Arthur Bennett (Editor)
  2. Morning and Evening by Charles H. Spurgeon (Author), Alistair Begg  (Editor)
  3. The Quiet Place by Nancy Leigh DeMoss
  4. New Morning Mercies by Paul David Tripp
  5. Taste and See by John Piper
  6. The Songs of Jesus by Timothy Keller
  7. In The Presence Of God Devotional Readings On The Attributes Of God by Dr. R. C. Sproul
  8. Daily Readings From the Life of Christ by John F. MacArthur Jr.
  9. Big Beliefs!: Small Devotionals Introducing Your Family to Big Truths by David R. Helm
  10. Wise Up: Ten-Minute Family Devotions in Proverbs by Marty Machowski
